President Felipe Calderón Appoints Jorge Tello Peón Executive Secretary of the National Public Security System

The Presidency reports that President Felipe Calderón appointed Jorge Tello Peón Executive Secretary of the National Public Security System today.
Jorge Tello has extensive experience in national security issues. He has served as Director of the Center of Investigation and Nation Security, Commissioner for the National Institute to Combat Drugs for the Attorney General’s Office and Under-Secretary of the Interior. Since October 2008, he has been national security advisor to the President.
